When Citibank tell their credit card holders that they can opt to paperless statement and cancel the normal snail-mail statement few years back I immediately sign up for it without any further thoughts. But it pondered my thinking at that time, why had not other issuer banks followed the same attempt.

Little that I know, recently maybank2u.com.my has offered the same wonderful feature in their e-banking portal. Although, users can view the statement online, but we do not have any choice to cancel the paper mailed statement. I’m sure not everyone would want to cancel the paper statement, but an option to not have it delivered in paper form is a better realization of the general idea.

Considering necessary to do so, I email to them at the Contact Us link regarding this matter.

I’m pleased to know that maybank2u.com.my is now offering a great feature whereby Maybank Credit Card holders can view their paperless statement via maybank2u.com.my

With this in effect, I’d like to know whether would it be possible for the normal paper mail statement to be discontinued from sending over to my address?

This certainly will help safeguard our environment with less paper being used.

Hope to hear a good reply from you.

Thank you and have a pleasant day ahead.

Kind regards,
Affendy Iskandar Ahmad
